Personal Experience 1:
I remember about a month ago, when I have completed reading Confucius From The Heart by Yu Dan (于丹), I posted this question on my Facebook wall, “Does anyone know where I can get a copy of The Analects of Confucius?” During that time, the feeling of owning a copy of the 2,500 years life philosophy and knowing it by heart was deeply engraved in my heart. I have yet to see it in any bookstore before this (perhaps there is but I’m just ignorant at that time) and I have given it up after awhile as I always have this belief that something I longed for will turn up right in front of me unexpectedly one day.
Few weeks ago, when I browsed through the books available at Popular Book & Music Fair held on 6-24 April 2011 at Sunway Pyramid, Selangor, Malaysia, a greenish book with black words and a graphic of a sage caught my eyes. And it turned out to be none other than “The Analects of Confucius”! Without much thought, I grabbed the book and proceeded to the payment counter with the other 2 books I have chosen – The Secret by Rhonda Byrne and Awakening: Asian Wisdom for Every Day by Danielle and Olivier Follmi.
Personal Experience 2:
April was a month full of surprises. I was very lost at the brink of giving up, accept faith as it is and don’t want to care anymore. No more dream, no more this and that. Just do what I need to do and expected of me. But deep inside my heart, I really wanted to search for ways to break free from my current life.
Suddenly, I could see lights at the end of the tunnel when a high school mate bugged me on Facebook. After few chit-chat sessions, he invited me to attend a workshop on Enneagram (our personalities are divided into 9 types and each of us has a bit of the 9 types with one core personality) where I started to understand why certain people act differently in certain situation and how one’s personality changes to another personality when he is not resourceful. I decided to sign up for Personality Assessment where I would get one-to-one coaching on how to improve my current life based on my personality.
My friend and I had a chat and he said that if I want to do what I love to do – traveling around the world to record the essence of life via words and photography - I would need to look for a passive income (auto income generator even when I am not working). This matter has been on my mind ever since and I got the touch of it over the last weekend when I attended Global Internet Seminar held on 29 April – 1 May 2011 at Wisma MCA, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The speakers were so awesome in imparting a millionaire mindset in all attendees, convincing everyone in the hall that with internet business, we will be able to earn hundreds and millions when we are sleeping and on vacation, and the best part of it is it can help us to generate income to pay for all our bills even faster than working for others (our job). It sounds so good, working few hours a day and could earn double and triple of our current monthly income in just a day or few. However, I understand that it comes with hard work in building the foundation and networks. Despite this, I see the opportunities in it.
I feel that Heaven is giving me opportunity and after opportunity and now, it is up to me whether I am able to sense and grab it. We always hear this “opportunity usually comes unexpectedly”, don’t we?
*Love and Hope for better tomorrow*
